Spooktoberfest and Ursuline/Iona Walk

Join the fun of SPOOKTOBERFEST 2012!   The Hope For Change Foundation is once again presenting SPOOKTOBERFEST with the help of Hart’s Brook Park in Hartsdale. This is a spook-tacular event to be a part of – I am looking for TONS of people as always to be ghosts, monsters, madmen, and zombies! It is going to be a blast! And the best part is that we raise lots of money for breast cancer research! Come be a part of it. SPOOKTOBERFEST 2012 GHOSTS OF BEDLAM FRIDAY OCTOBER 26 7PM-10PM Here’s the deal. We are going to have a VERY limited rehearsal schedule this year so I need to ask that if you want to be involved you must be at ALL of the rehearsals. This will help ensure the smoothest preparation for this event. Below are the rehearsals as well as the date of the performance. As always, rehearsals and the event will take place at Hart’s Brook Park and Reserve in Hartsdale. Dates and times as follows: SUNDAY OCTOBER 7 6:30 – 9:00 pm SUNDAY OCTOBER 21 6:30 – 9:00 pm (IF WE FEEL WE NEED IT, WE MAY ADD A REHEARSAL ON THURSDAY OCTOBER 25.)   THE EVENT WILL TAKE PLACE ON FRIDAY OCTOBER 26 FROM 7 TO 10 PM. You will need to arrive by 5pm on the day of the event. (Rain Date: Saturday, October 27) Please email Jason a bwayjay@hotmail.com no later than Sunday, September 23 to let  him know if you would like to participate. We want tons of people for this one so tell your friends and family about this too! We are looking to fill 60-80 roles this year! Thank you in advance for helping with this. We want to raise lots of money this year! Don’t forget we are fighting for a cause!

Ursuline/Iona Breast Cancer Walk

Ursuline and Iona Prep will be hosting a breast cancer walk. The event will take place on Sunday October 14th at Iona Prep. There will be a mass at 12:00 and walk from 1:00-3:00

Come support the Hope for Change Foundation and the Hope Players and get your tickets to HFC’s summer production of Ray of Hope. The show traces the creation of a show from auditions through opening night. The intention is to play on the cliches of shows like 42nd Street and A Chorus Line (along with dozens of others) as well as on the “let’s put on a show, kids” films of Judy Garland/Mickey Rooney. At its heart the show is about people with dreams and hopes, those who try to find something deeper in themselves than they ever knew was there. We all need hope, and this show helps us to know why.
